Breaking News
Today is the second day of our 2-day matching drive - and I am excited to announce that thanks to another generous supporter, donations up to $2,500 will be matched!
And the first day of our "The Number 2" matching drive was a great success - we didn't actually get started until a bit after noon - and we raised $1130 yesterday - which, when matched, will be $2260!
We have a full day today - and a new goal - if we can get $1370 in additional donations today, we'll match the full $2500 - which means $5000 for Hancock Wildlife! So if you've been thinking of donating, today's the day!

And those who make donations made today - like all donations during the May-June-July Campaign for the Cams - will have a chance to win one of four great thank-you gifts from David Hancock and Hancock Wildlife Foundation, including a Fraser River Safari tour as David's guest, a four-hour tour of eagle nests in the lower mainland or Boundary Bay areas, eagle prints by David and Christian Sasse, and a package of CafePress items - click the button below for more details, and pictures of the prizes (the new Linux-design travel mugs can be substituted for those shown).

A big thanks to those of you who have donated and started us off in such a rousing fashion - and a very big thanks to the supporters whose pledges make the matching campaign possible!
We have great plans for next year - pan-tilt-zoom cams at all of the nests like we now have at Delta 2, sound at all of the nests like we have at White Rock now, and night vision, like we have at Lafarge and White Rock - and with your help, we're going to make it happen!

$2260 - WOW JudyB, there is that lucky 22 again. We just can't break away from it.
Go gang. Let's break the bank today!!! We can do it for next year's amazing new cams AND SOUND! Can you imagine us being able to actually hear our next season's eaglets screep again!!! We may have another noisy Jet or a quiet Linux but what fun just to hear them "talking". It is especially helpful when they get out into the branches.
So come on everyone let's make today count.

Good morning Delta 2.. great catch of the wing liberty ! Raining I loved your eaglet shaped shadow ..I am willing to believe... Palweber was saying that there were three eaglets on White rock last night .. isn't that fascinating.. If Linux has made it that far away he is an adventurer. I hope he is still with ma and pa. I was wondering if the third juvie there was one of White Rocks from last year. Does anyone here follow that thread?
7:18am No eaglets /juvies visible
Just a surmise.... If Linux weren't around I think we might be seeing more of the parents on the nest checking for him as we did when he went to OWL

I went over there yesterday when it was mentioned on the chat. It was another first year juvie!
7:24 Did anyone else just see something fly across the cam? I just turned it on and something big flew from left to right across the tree.
I adopted the Delta2 nest!

That makes perfect sense, gd.
I have been gardening the last while so not watching and the screen keeps shutting down so I can't even see it when I walk through the room unless I log back in BUT what you and Darlene saw sounds very similar to what Liberty and I witnessed this morning. Parent flying from left to right.
OK, late lunch and then some errands. I will keep checking to see if Linux shows up for a visit.
