Some s'caps from the videos I recorded this afternoon. Time at top. Eagle is incubating in the wind and rain, gets up to roll the eggs, settles down on the eggs again and rearranges the nesting material.

Oh oh!!!! tuned in to a frozen cam, snapped this photo.
The cam came back and the eagle is still in this position.

Okay, all is fine now, eagle is up, standing at 2 and giving us a view of the eggs as they are given a roll or two.

(I thought something might be wrong with the tail in the upward position but all seems well now)

It's nap time.... drifting in and out of sleep.

Nap is over, awake now.

Adult gets up for a leg and wing stretch, flies off from 3ish.

Adult flies in at 9, immediately settles in on the eggs, does not roll them first.

looks like the sun might be shining a little at the moment, it's nice and bright.

adult on the eggs looks up just as the other adult arrives in at 11.


Brooding adult gets up from the eggs, flies off.
The other remains standing at 11.

(IMHO, I think that was Mom who just left and this is now Dad home with the eggs)

Sandra I love that shot of Mom with her tail in the air. I saw something similar to that the other day when the wind was blowing hard.

Hi Judy , at first I thought it might be the wind, it didn't actually look like the wind was blowing it up like that .

The tree/nest is really rocking right now and I think it's Dad on the nest.
