a few minutes ago, linux jumped into the nest...
did a few wingflaps and checked things out.
then flew right back UP, landing in the larger branch that mom was on earlier
(when linux was telling her about his milestone night).
then, hopped over to his NEW fave location.
got some caps, but too pixelated....
edit: oh goodie, gd got scaps!!!!
oh, i sure do hope that P's bring brekkie or lunch to nest, so little one will hang around longer....
i read that harmon from mn bound branched around june 28 or so, and a couple days later was GONE....
i think there were a few sightings near nest, but pretty much NO nest activity from what i could gather.
but OMG. i just read that D12 (first decorah eaglet) was found electrocuted yesterday.
oh, how (on facebook page)

Fabulous scaps this morning Liberty and Raining. I would like to look at a few of them for Cafe Press! I am out now for the day to the HWF luncheon in Sechelt. Stay put please Linux for one more day at least. Have a good day everyone!
I adopted the Delta2 nest!

9:23 Just a quick check on Linux and I see he is still on his fav branch and still no brekkie. Are you telling your parents you would like something to eat from your branches, Linux. I bet the neighours hear you too
newbiE that is truly heartbreaking about the Decorah eaglet. To get to the fledging stage and have this happen is unimagineable heartache.
gd, glad you are enjoying yourself and the water is warm enough to swim.
Have fun today Darlene.

Oh, I am happy for Harmon but so sad for D 12. Those 3 were so different then last year's group. The hazards of our society and wildlife intermingling.
