Red Heart Linux is so handsome I cannot hardly stand it. And what an incredible personality. I just read where he branched. Does that mean he may be flying off soon to start his wonderful life? Boy, I think we all will miss him so much. To me, there isn't an eagle alive that isn't handsome if a male, and beautiful if a female. There is not another bird on earth can touch them. The two eaglets at White Rock are coming along nicely, too, as are the triplets at LaFarge. Is it unusual to have triplets? I sure enjoy all the pictures, you all do a fantastic job of capturing our boy. Ta for now.....wave

Hi, Unicorn. I don't know if it's that unusual to have three. The Decorah family in Iowa usually has three, the Missouri eagles had three this year, an Oklahoma nest had three (maybe one did not survive?). Sidney had three a couple of years in a row I think. Some long-time watchers think that eagle pairs with a history of abundant food sources near the nest have three more often than others. What is very unusual is four chicks. A nest in Maine had four last year, and another nest had four this year. I don't know know how they keep them fed, and how they keep the nest from falling down when they start jumping on it. Can you imagine four mouths to feed??? Don't Panic
