I just saw something fairly large glide up into the upper branches above the upper left corner of the cam window. Not sure if it was an eagle, but nice to see someone in the area.

I saw something large fly by a few minutes ago, almost silhouetted against the sky. Too fast for me to be able to see details - like whether or not there was a white tail.

Good morning!
9:30 am
Two birds just flew over the nest, one right after the other - came as if from the WA cam and passed under the branch that's over the nest. I saw a flash of white as they turned to the left after passing the tree - but I think they were smaller than eagles. Happened too fast for me to get a pic.

Just now saw the helicopter heading for the airport.
11:09 a.m.
Eagle flew left to right --- caught sight of it crossing the area we see between the upper and middle tree branches. It's wing flaps were to slow and graceful for it to be anything other than an eagle.

I thought I saw one a little while ago, jkr - couldn't really say why, but my mind said "eagle" - and we do know they are in the area, even though they rarely visit the nest.

Looks like a very windy day - tree is rocking and rolling. I hope the eagles have found a cozy place to hang out - though they may enjoy riding the winds.
