Good morning, Sandra!

Thanks for your thoughts on my "mystery light" - it did seem to be some sort of spotlight, and not knowing the area, I had no idea what might be over there. It did go out after a while - I didn't think to note the exact time.

It does look like a dismal day in Delta.

Hi All Hello

I've been lurking for quite some time, sure doesn't look good for eagles and eggs Sad Was so hopeful for this nest, there's still time I guess but it is getting late for nestorations...come on Ma and Pa and get busy here fingers crossed

Wet, windy and wild.
I can hear the chickadees and some hammering from the construction nearby.
No eagles seen or heard.

Just heard one of those soft mournful calls from an eagle,no visual though No.

Someone was home this afternoon! This picture was taken at 3:30 pm. It may be that it's just been so long since I've seen either one of them, but I don't think this is Ma unless she's been on a diet or something. Ma has always seemed to be much chubbier (in a healthy way) than this eagle. And Pa has been so elusive this year that I can't say one way or another if it's him or not Puzzled. What do you think?

I think it's an eagle - and I haven't seen one for a while! Thanks so much, Judy! Smile

The eagle does look fairly thin (in a healthy way), and I often have trouble telling who's who at a nest unless they are both there for size comparisons, but the head looks more female to me - I think because the neck and "ruff" seem fairly thick, and the beak looks large. However - necklines are very dependent on how the eagle is holding his/her head, and there's really nothing to use for comparison on beak size. You see more eagles in a week than I do in a year - so your guess is a lot better than mine! Smile

Nice picture Judy! Oh how I wish it were ma or pa keeping an eye on their nest. I still have to check the cam a few times a day. Not ready to give up.

5:57a ~ No activity in or around the nest except Mr. Spider traipsing across the cam

wave I haven't posted in a while as no eagles seen nor heard becomes old real fast. Sad I do continue to pop in though with hopes of activity but none again this morning. 9:47 I lied. Something of significance blurred by, wings spread, from top mid screen to about 3. Clapping 2 viewers here. Sad

ETA 9:50 It looks like 2 eagles flying around near the tree, chasing or together? Don't Know A flash from right to left in front of the nest, then behind, then the 2 close together behind the tree.
