I hate to bother Ken again, but I'm wondering if now that we have the overhead cam back online, we might want the WA cam pulled back a bit so we can see a bit more of the tree, and catch a few more fly-bys.
Thoughts?
Judy.. I think that is a splendid idea. I am here lurking most mornings and would love to get a more expansive view of what is going on. Since the weather is beautiful and calm this might be a good time for a cam adjustment.
Thanks
Coco

Thanks, cococat! Unless I hear major objections, I'll send him an email later this morning.

I just saw something that looked eagle-size fly across, from left to right. It was sort of going on a diagonal, I think, but I had an impression of a white tail.

I would love to see it pulled back a bit also. I have heard eagles a few times but no sightings.
I adopted the Delta2 nest!

I've been thinking the same about the wa cam. It's actually more like a closeup now!
Two wee birds chirping in the nest.

Thanks folks! And glad to hear we have folks watching!
I found this s'cap from December - does this look like a good example to give to Ken?

They do occasionally perch on the branch that's just barely visible at the top in this view - but also perch below the nest - so it's a bit of a gamble whatever we pick.

What if we pull it to the right a bit Judy, as they don't tend to sit on the ends of the branches?

Looks good to me Judy. Definitely will give us a better opportunity for scapes. OK now I am excited.
Stim........ saw the little birdie bopping around the nest too!
Judy....
Just a thought. Have you had a chance to check with JudyW? She may have some insight about positioning the cam because of all her ground observations

I'm afraid I'm sometimes a bit directionally-challenged, stim - are you suggesting moving it so we see less or more of the branches on the left side of the tree trunk, where we see very little in the s'cap I posted for discussion?
Good thought about checking with JudyW, cococat! Judy - if you're online, please do chime in!
I'm thinking it does make sense to take advantage of the peaceful weather to do at least a preliminary adjustment if Ken is available - and we may indeed ask for a bit of fine tuning in a few days after we give our first suggestion a try, and get some additional input from Judy and other viewers.
