Thanks for this information!! O.W.L. is such an awesome rehab facility and the Delta O.W.L. eagles are very special, too. I am hoping, hoping, hoping that they are successful this year.

Judy ~ Thanks again for the pictures and ground reports. The sightings of the adults around the nest is encouraging.
Foggy Saturday morning.

Beautiful Sunday Morning at the nest.

7:45a ~ no sign or sound of eagles but the tree shook a couple of times like one could be coming or going from the upper branches.

Good morning, cococat!

I've seen something fly by, though didn't look up fast enough to know if it was an eagle. And I saw something black very near the cam - could be a stretch by someone perched on/near the cam.

It looks like a nice day for a visit to the nest - will keep my fingers crossed.

11:02 ~ eagle flew by the lower right corner of the cam while crow(red arrow) was on the nest. Could not tell if it was a juvie or adult.

Good catch, cococat!

2:20 pm
An adult eagle just flew off - my guess from the path is that it was perched somewhere in the top of the nest tree, and I saw it gliding down and away in the upper right part of the cam window - but it was gone before I could reach for my mouse. Still wonderful to see one! Smile

Good morning! Looks like a lovely day in Delta - sunny and so little wind that it's sometimes hard to be sure the cam is streaming.

I hate to bother Ken again, but I'm wondering if now that we have the overhead cam back online, we might want the WA cam pulled back a bit so we can see a bit more of the tree, and catch a few more fly-bys.

Thoughts?

Oh - did see a black bird of some sort visit the nest yesterday - not as good as an eagle - but something! Smile
