Good morning everyone! Great story, thanks Mary!



7:26 Savannah(?) has been incubating for a while.


7:27 Derek is in the background and then gone when I turned away for a second.

9:17 - 9:20 parent switch. Parent who was incubating goes to rail and flaps/stretches and then exits left as other parent settles in.

Turning into a nice sunny day here!

Derek (?) has been up flapping and calling a couple of times in the last 10-15 minutes - not sure what that's about, but I'm guessing someone was coming closer than he thought was appropriate. Here he is back on the eggs.



I'm not expecting a third egg here - but they did lay three one year (though only 2 hatched), so it's possible. If there is going to be a third egg, tomorrow is probably the most likely day, or maybe Thursday.

4:24 They were both over by the food, one came running back to incubate, the other grabbed some food and came running back to eat on the ledge.
