Closeup of the parent currently on the nest - hard to compare with the earlier closeup as they're facing in different directions, but figured I'd take advantage of the zoomed in mode to post it.

Nice close-ups!

2:07 incubating and an occasional call out - but can't tell if it's the incubating parent or someone off screen.

3:17 I think it's Derek who goes over to the side to get some food and comes running back to the nest box with it.

3:19 finishes and goes back for more while Savannah rolls the eggs.

3:29 now up on the perch.

3:38 big commotion. Both eagles started vocalized and facing left, Derek flew off the perch to the left. Savannah up off eggs vocalizing.


3:39 everything is calm. Savannah goes back to incubating.

I'm following their antics with great interest and I just love listening to them but am still unable to do scaps from this cam so keep up the good work y'all!!!!

Something to try if your s'caps come out as empty or black. If this works, I'll add it to the tech thread.

I'm using a PC - I'm guessing this could be adapted for a Mac if necessary.

Find the instructions for your version of Windows; if you have Windows 7, use the instructions for Vista; if you have a Mac, I'd suggest using whatever looks most similar.

If you can't find Windows Media Player on your computer, you could try opening the CRC cam and right-clicking in the middle of the cam window while it's playing, and choose Options; with luck that will show you a similar menu.
