It's amazing how much mis-information there is on the chat for this nest!! The mods appear to be non-existant or they sure weren't there today!!


7:00PM nest time......Frank and Indy both in the nest but not on the egg.



Both of them were moving some lumber around---LOST THE CAM



I checked at 12:40AM nest time and there was one of the parents, probably Indy, sound asleep on the egg. I have no idea how long neither one was incubating the egg. I can account for 7 hours from 12PM to 7PM--when I turned the cam on until it went to a blue screen! That's a long time for the egglet to be alone!!

1AM---I can almost hear Indy snoring...for an eagle she is really sound asleep! It will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings with this pair and their egg.

1:05PM nest time....Indy rolling the egg



9:45PM....Indy is on the nest but isn't on the egg. You can see it there in front of her,

Here's a link to the AEF facebook page. There are pictures showing that there are TWO eggs!! I don't know when she laid the second one but in the pictures she isn't really siitting on them.


HMMMM...that doesn't work...it comes up with all my info!!

3:25PM nest time.....

Indy on her eggs



She flew up to the nest rail



Searching the skies-or the tree- for Frank

Calling Frank



He comes--she goes



Frank sits on the rail

He looked around for a while



Picked at the nest rail and dug in the nest



Then he just sat for some time in the nest

Finally he roled the eggs



And settled down to incubate



10 minutes later he was back on the rail!
