Good morning, BW Buds!!! It's 9:28 a.m. nest time and Mom and Dad nust be out and about. The nest is looking great! Lots of new sticks for guardrails for the babies and soft grass for the wee ones when they arrive.

ETA: 9:35 a.m. They are both home. Looks like we have some coy looks happening!

Just caught both parents cooling off a bit. Then they both start tending to the nest.


Oh boy - digging that egg cup deeper and deeper. Atta boy Dad!


Mom takes over with the digging.

Good Morning Debs, Judy B, Litz, Lonette and any other fans of Blackwater eagles.

A long visit this morning. They are very active and alert. I'll add a few snaps.







They are not in order according to time. These were ones I liked of them during this visit.

10:49 Mom, I think, resting in the nest. Won't be long and this is what we will be seeing....



11:00 Dad returns to the nest.

Thanks for the scappies. It's 10:54 a.m. now and they are back. I thought at first that Dad may have brought Mom a meal, but now I don't know for sure.


12:44 p.m.
After a couple of hours, Mom and Dad return. More egg cup digging, more flirting.



1:00 p.m.
Mom is staying on center nest right now. She's taking the opportunity to look around a bit and then give herself a bit of a bath.

Hmmmmmmmmm . . . .




Maybe an egg soon??????????

Dad dropped by a few minutes ago to check on Mom (who is still on the nest at 1:40 p.m.). Mom got up when Dad arrived and we have no egg yet. Mom is hanging around the nest though. Of course, she knows we're watching and will probably wait until we are all sound asleep to let us know if it is egg time.
