Mom seemed to be in a playful mood tonight; while both perched on the cross bar Mom kept pushing Dad over ...by edging him out on the crossbar as if she wanted to play. At one point it looked like they were going to mate but Dad flew up and over Mom to get away from her....it was really too funny.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends celebrating this special holiday today

Well Mom and Dad always seem to get down to business just before dark and today is no exception.
I wish they would do their restorations in daylight seems like it would be much easier

Tonight they seemed to be concentrating on the branches that are hanging over the nest
working in isolation at times and as a team other times...trying to draw those stubborn branches back
into the nest.....Mom made sure Dad knew she was in charge she nipped at him a few times and gave
him that "stare"

Mornin' Sooner Lake

It is kinda chilly at the nest today but sunny and clear
at 5 C or 41 F with a wind from the north
at 24 km/h or 15 mph.

Nice to see one of the adults perched on the crossbar

Dad I think delivers a nice duck to the nest



Then Mom promptly arrives and claims the meal

Dad leaves and Mom wastes not time in startin' her meal.


Mom is enjoying eating bit.


Dad has returned but there is no much meat left

Afternoon Sooner

Mom and Dad are both at the nest....looks like Dad
was installing some new crib rails

It is a sunny but cool day there today.
Current conditions:
7 C or 45 F with a North Wind at 24 km/hr or 15 mph

Ma or Pa looks hunkered down in the bowl...trying to shield self from
the breeze; while the other is perched up on the crossbar enjoying the sun.
