Morning PH
Judy L thanks so much for your reports, scaps appreciate them all.
JD Thanks for the clarification; we all love to see these beautiful birds do well
Dr. Sharpe is on chat right now....here is a copy of the chat...iwsciber is Dr. Sharpe
So Dr. Sharpe does not consider A84's flight yesterday a fledge...more of a glide....hmm interesting.
10:11 MARYOMARYO: Thanks, Dr. Sharpe, I sure noticed something much more clear about it right away.
10:12 iwsciber: The clarity is because Jim cleaned the camera lens
10:12 tinasgoodies04: how was the eaglets that flew away on the nest when you got up there
10:12 MARYOMARYO:
10:12 MARYOMARYO: Yes, and how far did she she fly or glide, Dr. Sharpe
10:13 iwsciber: It took about an hour to find both of the eaglets, but they were uninjured.
10:13 tinasgoodies04: the one on Ph was not a happy campier with you when you put it back on the nest
10:13 MARYOMARYO: Everyone wants to know if you consider that a false fledge for both, Dr. Sharpe
10:15 iwsciber: Sauces went about 150 m, PH probably 300 m
10:16 iwsciber: They were jumps, not fledges. Fledging is when they can fly, not just glide.
10:16 MARYOMARYO: WOW! Okay thanks!!
10:16 tinasgoodies04: they just didnt want to be a part of anything
10:17 tinasgoodies04: how is 24 on WE
10:20 iwsciber: 24 seems to be doing OK. I don't see any swelling and he is eating and exercising from what I hear.
10:30 iwsciber: The hook could break, he could pull it out, or it could get pulled out by getting caught on something.
With regards to the sexes of the juvies at PH and Sauces.
10:21 MARYOMARYO: Female for PH, right?
10:21 MARYOMARYO: and A81 male and A82 female?
10:21 iwsciber: Pretty sure PH is a female.
10:22 iwsciber: Yes on Sauces.
10:22 tinasgoodies04: boy mary you are good
10:22 iwsciber: But 81 was near the male/female cutoff.

Hi Debs...Thank you for bringing over the exchange from the chat with Dr. Sharpe
Makes sense about it not really being a fledge, rather a glide...
... and she is a she... but that is really no surprise...
I am in process of reviewing my recording of 84 since the cam came on this morning to see how she is doing with her wobbliness..
So far, she looks so much better... but I still need to review the rest of it.
9.20
Awww.. A84 is showing us her left wing with the new blue bling on it...

eta... Debs... just noticed your last post...
that is true.. we do have to wait for the blood work test results to be sure about her sex.
She looks so good this morning...

A84 shows us her beautiful wings a couple times...
This is primarily been uploaded and posted as you can see how much better she is doing today compared to yesterday.
Plus... she is so beautiful... I love watching her... even when she just looks like a statue...

A84 decides she needs to lay down and rest... but is watching out.

10.31
She perks up and begins to peep as she tracks something out to the right of the nest.
Perhaps parent flying in?
She snow just watching and has stopped peeping.
Maybe parent just flying around.
10.33
Hi there cutie pie.

Thanks for the scaps and video, Judy Lynn, great to see Atefour looking so lively today. Best wishes for her future (and a meal real soon would go over well too). Happy viewing, everyone.
