You can see the white caps at West End
and Wray is definitely wind swept at times.

The position of the West End nest ... exposes this nest
to more wind than the Two Harbors nest...if I remember
correctly...but perhaps it depends also on wind direction.

Poor Wray is really exposed in the wind; she hunkers
down as best she can but you can see the wind is
really moving her back coat feathers infact some of the
feathers appear damaged on her left wing or backside
as they are sticking straight up and blowin with the wind.

Feel so bad for her she has no shelter at all; whereas the Two
Harbors nest seems to have some shelter from these high
winds.

Wray tries to hunker down in the nest but there
is not shelter.

Wray's body is actually being pushed from side to side
abit with the wind; she will be exhausted by Midnight.



K82 is feeling the wind too but it is not as severe on this side of
the island and the nest provides a bit of shelter too.
