One more.....then I am out.

605 to 610 pm
Awww Wray comes home and Superman greets her; love how they greet each
other with the vocals.

Wray takes over incubating while Superman gets ready to leaves the nest.

Wray gives the eggs a bit of tuck when she takes over but she did not roll all three eggs
She does this twice. Superman has left the nest and it is anticipated that Wray will
incubate the eggs for the night.

905 pm
Dad or K81 is still incubating on the TH nest; I guess
this pair has done this before Laugh where Mom arrives after
dark for the night shift.

Dad has been alert looking all around and has hardly closed
his eyes...waiting on Mom I guess.

It would be nice to see Mom arrive.....I have had the cam
up since my last post and have been watching this pair.

Normally the female eagle incubates the eggs on the
night shift...so this seems bit unusal.

Here is are some captures of K81 or Dad tonight.

8:53 am - Two Harbors
A bit of concern here. Mom K82 still hasn't returned to the nest. Observers on the CHIL forum thought they may have heard her (or another eagle, I suppose) calling in the distance. Cam has been panning the area.

Dad K81 was off the eggs briefly for a stretch, but has otherwise been incubating since sometime yesterday.

K82 is back! Grin

K81 got up a couple of minutes ago, looked around, and left the nest. The eggs were untended for a couple of minutes (though K82 might have been nearby) - and then K82 flew in, looked at the eggs, and settled in to incubate as if nothing unusual had occurred - and perhaps it hadn't, from their perspective, though we're more accustomed to seeing the female incubate overnight.

Cam is back up and K82 is eating something in the nest
looks like a bird or a rodent of some kind as she has to pluck
it abit before eating it.

West End

Superman I think is on incubating duty; must be warm sitting
in the sun; he has his beak open to cool himself.
