Mom scarfs down a whole fish...

Then hops to the front of the nest and picks up another fish and offers #3 a bite.

This can't be mom... this adult is pigging out on the fish... LOL
It is hazy and hard to tell.
I think it is dad... as I watch longer...

It really is Wray... I think this is a fish fest for Wray...
She may come to like those "people" next year if they bring fish to the nest too...

To each and every one of you here today documenting the banding I was fortunate enough to beable to watch most of it, but had to leave for work before the two oldest were put back in the nest...What a lovely surprise to see all those fish on the nest, and #3's full crop Can just imagine the little sweetie scarfing down those fish and not having to worry about having them stolen away...must have been in sheer heaven

Sure hope Dr.Sharpe can capture #3 after she fledges to bling and backpack her...don't think I could stand not knowing what happens to her or where she goes once she flies off

8:10---- Just zoomed in on #3's band a few minutes ago..5Z it says on it. I was always leaning toward #3 being a girl, it was the beak and mannerisms that got me...I guess we'll see for sure in a few days and the IWS are hardly ever wrong

Hi Nancy and Debbie. Thanks for the scaps and obs... I too was thinking that #3 was/is a girl. She has become very "tough" for the runt of the litter... LOL

Here are some scaps that I took this morning. There are a couple from yesterday too that I found on my desktop.

K27 gives up on that fish because K24 snagged it, and looks at the big fish pile...
