Noon ish

It looks and sounds truly awful there.
Can hear the wind - and the icy snow falling - but can't see the nest at all!!

I hope JudyB isn't also getting this Wub

The cam was down on and off during the day today, but I did manage to catch a brief visit by one of the adults - I'm guessing Mom - at 4:25 pm eastern time

She poked around briefly and was off 2-3 minutes later.

Eagle was in the nest for a good 10 minutes. It was picking at the bottom of the nest bowl, but did not seem to have a food item. More just moving bits about.

I haven't seen anyone here for a while (though I also haven't been watching that often) but caught a visit late this afternoon.

Both of them visited briefly today - and one is still there!

I've been watching much of the day, and this brief visit by one is all I've seen of them.

He or she left shortly after I took the third s'cap.

I haven't seen an evening visit for several days - not sure if they've been away, or if I'm just not looking at the right moment. Today I got lucky - these s'caps are from 4:53 - 4:56 pm, at which point the adult flew away to the right (I think he/she arrived from the left, though I'm not positive - perhaps making the rounds of the territory).
