Little explorers -







The Maine Winodw-on-Wildlife forum is reporting a couple of feedings already this morning, and while I'm not sure it shows in the pictures, I did see a couple of plump little crops!

A couple of pictures of chick with parent (other chick is fine, just sleeping through this photo op)





They were both facing each other when I started to take the second s'cap, but the adult turned away at the last moment.

Afternoon Maine

Oh Happy Days so wonderful to see success here this year; I must admit I was a wee bit afraid to tune in here after all the disappointments in past years but could not stay away.

Thanks for all the great reports, scaps and videos shared here ~~ love them all .

and Mom is really keeping a close eye on them to
as they venture out.

that both baby chicks get their fair share.

Both chicks were seated side by side during
the feeding and I never observed any bad behavior
and both chicks got fed.



The youngest Lil is sporting a nice crop


Big is also sporting a pretty impressive crop
