I've been watching much of the day, and there have been lots of feedings, and sometimes one gets more and sometimes the other gets more - so that's all good. I also have seen both parents at the nest a couple of times.

This is a beautiful time of day at the nest, so I thought I'd post a couple of s'caps

12:40pm EDT

Mom returned to the nest. Dad was a bit reluctant to give up his comfortable spot. Mom quietly kept peeping at him


He gave up and left. Mom began feeding the two. First one and then the other. Turning her head almost upside down to ensure they got the bites.

I'm so happy for this pair! So good to see chicks on this nest after so long..and they are just so sweet too

Cam came back on stream a couple of minutes ago and is set for Close Ups

The cam stayed on close up for the feeding of the chicks. They both were fed equally.

It is great to have these close ups. I really appreciate it - It would be even better if the controller could go to manual focus if that is possible and use the chicks for the point of focus to get sharper images of the chicks
