Hi Eaglewoman!! I want to know where that Bluff Branch is too! Can you explain where I can find it? Do I get to it from the 44 side or from the trail behind TB? I can't wait to see them again. I was wondering, does Liberty wait until Patriot comes back to hang out in the nest or does she start tidying up without him?

Getting excited. I saw my first snowbird yesterday. Same day I saw one last year. Now it will be a few days and then they will all be back. Means summer is gone for good this year. Thanks for keeping track of our eagles, Eaglewoman. I don't do a lot of walking these days otherwise I would be making a trek to the trail to join you. But, keep up the good work. Love to hear of your adventures and see your pix.

I think we will have to meet down there Renae, it's not real easy to explain! If you were on the 44 trail and you were going to go under the bridge toward Becheli Lane area, but instead you head northeast toward the river. So you don't go under the bridge, but you get off the paved trail and head back into that wooded area.
I'd be glad to meet you down there, maybe Saturday morning?

OMG!!! I saw him! Then, as I was leaving I saw something overhead and as BIG AS DAY . . . there she was - flying right over my head and not very high either! Too bad I had already tucked my camera away.

The pictures aren't as clear as I'd like, but I was just thrilled to get them!
