She's pretty serious about our Redding Eagles! We appreciate her SO much! I need to get some pics of the other Eagle watchers too sometime!

Thanks Renae! Titter

I went down to check on our eagles today, but it started raining pretty good so it was a short visit! Liberty was in the nest and Patriot was on the backside trees near Private Perch. I didn't get to see a switch or an egg turn, so not much to report!
Patriot, nearby as usual...

Sorry JudyB about the duplicate post above, can you delete the 2nd one for me?

I rode up to the nest this morning around 10:15 and Liberty flew in as I arrived. Patriot eventually flew off and flew around the nest tree area for a while and then landed on the Christmas Tree. You can still see his spots on his chest, which I hadn't seen in a while...

What a fun time this afternoon checking on the Eagles. This first shot is of Liberty wayyyyy over on the Family Tree.
The second shot is KitKat and Eaglewoman and Eagletwatcher!

We saw the switch and liberty took off, landed on the Christmas tree, then took off to the gravel bar and ate a coot.

You guys will have to tell me what happened after I left!

Great shot of the Ground Crew gang, Renae! Love how happy we all are, big smiles!Grin

I checked on our feathered friends twice today, once at 11:45 am, and then again at 2:00pm. Both times I found one in the nest, and one on Bluff Branch. I couldn't get a real close look, but I'm thinking it was Liberty in the nest, and Patriot on Bluff Branch both times. As I was driving away at 12:20, Patriot who had flown off Bluff Branch and headed toward the nest tree area, was perched on top of the Christmas Tree.
Here's a few pics...
