Finally getting around to posting some photos. Lots of great photos already posted. Nice close-ups from Christian. One of my favorites – and there wasn’t any eagles in the photo – are Elle’s mountain photos at sunset with that wonderful pink glow. I was in the same area for a couple of hours but had left by sunset. Should have stayed a bit longer. These photos taken near Harrison River at Stop 4, Sandpiper Golf Resort in late afternoon on 11-19-11.

Thank you everyone who has been posting pictures of the FVBEF! It is a real treat for someone like myself who was unable to attend. Your pictures are definitely the next best thing to being there in person! All these photos are awesome! Edkeagle...........I loved your photos of the eagles that you posted today. The ones of the dark colored eagles against the snowy white background of the mountains are beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

What I really like is the various personal angles by everyone posting images and videos in this forum. It emphasizes the relationship between photographer and eagle which may differ from person to person; and all perspectives are significant and valuable.

Thanks Ed. I couldn't resist those pink mountains. It was a right place at the right time scenario. mmud/Scott and I were there together at the time and I thought he told me it was Mt Cheam but I was mistaken. I love your eagle snaps flying in front of the white mountainsides.
