Welcome, Dave! Welcome

I think I know some eagles who would agree:

That was the Blackwater, Maryland, pair yesterday - keeping their two eggs warm during a day-long storm. There's also snow at Shepherdstown, WV, and Norfolk, VA, where eggs are due soon.

I think it's not easy being an eagle. Cool

great photo. i am rather suprised this pair laid eggs so soon...it is just feb 1st for crying out loud. it seems a bit early for me. i look forward to seeing incubation around march sometime.

i am not sure where to ask this question so i am just going to ask it here. from what i understand apparently there are a couple of adults incubating eggs in the mayland [usa] area. some of you may know they are expecting a good amount of snow this evening and if anyone knows of anyone that is reporting on these 2 couples...how are they doing and where can i find recent [ictures of them? tia. hope they survive the night, the beginning of feb seems way to early to be laying eggs if you ask me.

Hi Dave!wave

Could the nest you're referring to be Blackwater Refuge? It's in Maryland. If it is, here's a link to the thread with screen caps.
