Thanks for the welcome back & the tips, that have already solved how to insert my avatar! Must admit, negotiating new forum isn't quite so easy as old one but am sure we will get used to it, especially with all the help!

I think I know some eagles who would agree:

That was the Blackwater, Maryland, pair yesterday - keeping their two eggs warm during a day-long storm. There's also snow at Shepherdstown, WV, and Norfolk, VA, where eggs are due soon.

I think it's not easy being an eagle.

Not sure which big day you mean. Yesterday was the first BIG day when we were able to open most of the forum for everyone to start posting.

The other BIG day for closing the old forum will be by the end of the month. By then we hope everyone has found their way here.

About the old forum closing...will it be gone forever? 'Cause I have MEGA PMs I need to go thru and save or ditch. Will we be able to get there from here?

i would think at some point fairly soon they will take it down. i would gather your mega important names and numbers before they vanish just like poof bam they're gone forever just like that. why would they keep an unused site up that costs money.
