3:58 AM ~ Resting...occasional head shaking & twitching. Raining?


4:18 ~ Have been seeing what appears to be flashes from lightning in background.

4:35 ~ One eaglet up...believe D12.


4:40 ~ Several more lightning flashes...also hearing thunder.

5:09 ~ Finally captured a lightning flash...you would laugh at how many times I tried!

5:10 AM ~ Took this one to show it's still dark in background.


5:22 ~ Caught another flash...hey, I'm on a roll...lets resting through all the thunder noise & light show.


5:27 ~ See & hear the rain falling...hope it doesn't find the cam lens.

5:47 AM ~ Seeing a small bright twinkling light near top left side of nest tree...a star?


5:50 ~ Uh oh...rain drops have found cam lens.


6:08 ~ Cam lens has cleared...lets beginning to stir.
