Nest box- The box is 5X5 and weighes over 250 pounds.

Thumper attempted to raise the nest box up with a couple of friends, but due to the weight, he decided it was best to wait till he could get a crane there to raise it. Between the crane cost and Thumpers work schedule, it won't be till September or October before he can attempt it again.

Thanks for all the hard work you put into running this cam for us Thumper! Fingers crossed that Elsie and Einstein will like their new nest and remain in your backyard.

Good Morning Ozarks! Good Morning All!
Catching Spirit, Sunshine and Chance is getting harder and harder as they don't seem to be coming around the nest much. The last couple of days both Elsie and Einstein have been around together either sitting on the destroyed nest branches or over by the lower nest. Thumper and Sue have also seen them sitting up on the cam platform too, so fingers crossed they will build there once Thumper can get the nest box up!

Good Morning Ozarks! Good Morning all

Elsie and Einstein were at their "pad" this morning and Elsie spent a long time just sitting, looking around and wondering what her chicks did to their lovely nest that used to be!! It would be interesting to know what they are thinking and planning for next season. All hopes are that they will like the nest box that Thumper has built and plans to put up in the cam tree. How wonderful would that be to have such a great view into the nest and be able to view the egg laying, hatching and growths of the chicks before our eyes!!

Happy to see the E's back together at the nest, I went crazy just clicking away so here's a lot of s'caps of our beautiful pair... Elsie and Einstein!!
