Hi Donna.... It does look like we are only going to have 2 chicks this season.

I was gone part of the day but ran a video so I will catch up with s'capes of the evening. Pappa made several visits to the nest bringing lots of treats for Mom and the chicks. It looked like he brought a large worm or small snake. It was funny watching one chick grab it from mom and eat it up all by himself. Mom tried to help a couple of times but the chick didn't want any help.


9:20pm- Mom is admiring chicks.

922pm- A tender moment with Mom.

9:25pm- Mom leaves for a few minutes

9:46pm- Pappa arrives

Pappa jumps down to perch and sits a spell with Mom and chicks.

Pappa leaves soon after this capture.

10:07pm- Pappa returns with more treats.

Pappa arrives again.... this time with a big worm or tiny snake.

10:15pm

Pappa Is looking over Mom's shoulder.

Chick has the worm.

Mom tries to help but chick wants to eat it himself.

Papp watches chick eat the worm. Then leaves.

Did you see that!?

2 chicks and an egg! Guess that's all for tonight!
