Good Morning Birdofprey! I have been hearing a lot of hooting this morning so I think Pappa is near the nest. It's been pretty noisy there with car horns honking, dogs barking and the faint hoot calls. I will definitely have my video going once darkness sets in. Don't want to miss Pappa if he comes to the nest!

21 September and can I get some sleep please?
I love Pot Plant Owl. I love Pappa. And I love the fact that our balcony is theirs to use for nesting. What I DON'T love, is being woken up in the early hours of the morning with loud hooting on the balcony.

From a deep slumber, the noise is enough to think you are under attack. It takes a few long seconds until your brain catches up with your ears, and you understand what you are hearing. By then, you are wide awake and the chance of sleep again in the near future is slim.

Like I said, I love you PPO. I love you Pappa. But can you tone it down a decibel or three? Please?

Good Morning Bev! I've been watching for a new post on the blog. Guess Tracey and Allan are trying to recoup from their trip to France and haven't been posting the last few days.

5:02 pm- Mom is rolling the eggs.

5:03pm- Feathers are blowing in the wind.

5:03pm- Mom is giving the eggs a good roll around!
