Wow, Pat!!!

I just turned on the cam in time to see Mvula. I think he's my favourite!!!!

Yikes!! A hyena just showed up and Mvula is moving off.

We're following Mvula down the road now. No sign of the hyena now. Seb thought the hyena was Floppy Ear.

Hi Pat :hello:

Did you hear Mvula vocalizing?? Amazing! I think I'll go back to the archives, record it and post it later tonight.

Darn! Mvula went down into the drainage line and we can't follow. But there is a kudu that is alarming because he just caught sight of Mvula.

Edited to add:

Yay!! He's back on the road and we're following him again. But it will get dark soon :ds:

Hmmm -- that's interesting! I didn't know that Mvula mated with Saseka/Thandi. I think that Saseka had cubs but I think she lost them Cry Hanky I bet they would have been spectacularly beautiful!

For new viewers, Saseka is the daughter of Karula (first litter).

Edited to add:

Oh no!! No computer after Labour Day? How come?

I know that they said that they will all be taking 2 weeks off and at that time there will be no drive, but I don't know when that starts :dunno:

Oh!! I thought your computer was broken and that's why you wouldn't have one Wooh Have a wonderful trip! I love the idea of camping but, in reality, I'm a 5 star hotel kind of person LOL!

I checked Saseka's FB page and and it seems like she still has one of her cubs and it's a boy!!. They were last seen at the end of July. Here's a link to Saseka's Facebook page. It's public so all should be able to see it:

and here's a link to info posted on the Hancock forum about Saseka and her sister, Tingana:
