It's starting to get dark now and I just lost the feed

I have one of the USeewildlife cams up too, 8 of them to go hopping thru. I gave up updating the photos for them in the thread I have here. No one interested. Not doing it next year. waste of my time

I feel your "pain", Pat There are so many cams to watch now that you almost have to "specialize" and you'll likely be the only one posting in the thread as other people are "specializing" in another one -- if that makes sense It doesn't mean that others aren't, at some point, looking at what you post, but still it's a very lonely feeling to be the only one posting.

I think we should just go back to a couple of cams like we used to have so we can create the "community" like we used to have here

Well my computer ground to a halt and I just got it back. Seems like the WildEarth servers went kaput too So I guess I'll sign off for today as it will be dark in Djuma now anyway.

Update:

It looks like they may be playing recorded drives in between the LIVE ones. Check the "overlays" on the cams to determine if it's live or memorex that you're watching On the UStream player for the recorded drives, it says "Recorded LIVE". That means it's memorex, not live :-)

We started out the drive by watching two Natal Francolins chasing each other all over the place -- too comical!!

A tracking lesson from Tara -- African WildCat tracks!!



We caught up to Xivindze and her bro!!! This is the un-named boy cubbie who is watching his sister playing at the base of a nearby tree. Tara said that the guides will be getting together in the next couple of days and give the boy cub a name -- woo hoo!!

Tara heard something alarming down the road (and so did Xivindzi) so she drove down to check to see if it might have been Karula with a kill -- but they didn't find anything.

So know we're back with the cubs These two don't jump on each other and run around after each other like Induna and Mixo used to do.

Tara has decided to move along from the leopards and look for something else :-( And it's 2 a.m. for me now so I'm off to

I think the clock is wrong - or this is a recording of yesterday - they are using lights now - and there is no-way it is dark in Africa yet.
