How do I tell people about another Aussie raptor webcam?

It's for peregrine falcons in Orange, NSW on the campus of Charles Sturt University, now using the University webcams.

http://www.gumtreecs.com.au/wordpress/ directs you to: webcams, past history of this falcon project. and some blogs of this years projects. I haven't found any local forum

The eyases (chicks) were hatched Oct 4 & Oct 5. 3 of them. Of course right now it's night there. You can see an image during the night.

I couldn't see a way to do a general post in the falcons section of this forum.

I see what you mean, little Kopit. I will see that this post is seen by the admins so that it cam be dealt with properly.

A terrific wing working session. The nest floor acts like a trampoline and it rises as Stu lifts so his feet have not really left the nest before. At least when I have been watching. This is the first time I have seen him clear the nest - only an inch or two, but it is lift!

Hi All! nice to be back after a couple days away. I see Stu is making tremendous progress. I hope he 'shows off' a bit for me this afternoon.

8:52am Stu amazes me the way he blends in to his nest.

8:54am Adult arrived at the nest from 3oclock spot; turns and leaves seconds later.

8:30 am Stu back to centre bowl, had been up for awhile, preening, a bit of wingersizing and a ps.

Thanks for the videos and s'caps of the past few days. They document well the incredible development
we have seen the past week. Stu has shown he can self-feed a bit when Dad brought in the tiny fish for him and
he mantled as you noted, Anna. The wings are strengthening as well as they grow bigger and more beautiful every day, (yesterday was the first day I saw him gain some air, too). It was also feast day on the nest. After the fish that appeared in your video, Darlene, Dad brought in an enormous eel that Mom served up twice during the time I watched from before five to six-thirty and both Stu and Mom had very full crops after the feedings.

Hard to believe that Stu is eight weeks old already - how time flies! And in another month or so.....

8: 47am Still laying down but awake and looking up and around.
