5:38 pm Stu is curled up in nest, head towards 3 o'clock, occasionaly looking up and calling.
5:58 pm stood up and turned to face left, showing off beautiful long legs, ps but pretty empty now.
5:59 Stu slumped down again mid-bowl facing left . Looked up, where is Dad with chow?
AFK So much for an earlier night for me!
6:50 pm Looked in again, Stu still curled up mid-nest much as he /she was 50 min. ago. No sign of parents or
indication that there had been any food brought in yet.
7:10 pm Stu resting mid-nest as night falls, flings out one leg and wing, looks up, then curls up again.
Hope he sleeps better than me on an empty tummy, poor 'let. Dark now.

I only checked the cam a couple of times over the weekend - Other things needed my attention - winterizing my property
A thought regarding the lack of food yesterday
It is my understanding that this nest is located on/near a river in a Park. From watching my favorite cam - Calgary Osprey - I can tell you that food is scarce on weekends - particularly Sundays - as the increased human activity disturbs the environment in the areas that the parents normally catch their food. Parental behavior patterns are modified also. Spring is on its way in Australia and there is undoubtedly an increased amount of outdoor activity for the humans. Yesterday was Monday there and perhaps the "prey" food had not returned to their normal habitats and activities yet.
And since I mentioned Ospreys, I have noted how similar the feather markings are on the young Sea Eaglet and the young Ospreys. A difference in color - Midnight black/grey for the Sea Eaglet and Dark Chocolate for the O's.

As I watch these sea-eagles and see the many fish that are brought to the nest, the similarity to ospreys has
stood out of late. I haven't looked up the "family tree" but the resemblance in looks and behaviour to our ospreys is very apparent, and it wouldn't surprise me if they do belong to the same family. No time to look it up now as will be out for the day and most of tomorrow.
As to the food situation, it is possible that I missed a feeding yesterday as I wasn't glued to the cam all evening, something could have come in for a quick dinner that I missed and I hope that it did. In any case I tuned in at
3:45 am and for the past 3/4 hour have seen a peacefully sleeping eaglet curled up in the center of the nest bowl.
4:35 am Just checked again and cannot get the cam, but chatters are saying that a gull came in around 6 pm last night, thankfully. Sorry that I missed that, everyone!

8:20am adult in at 3oclock for a few seconds and departs the way she came in.
I was told an Adult was seen at the Delta 2 nest earlier this afternoon, so I am keeping an eye on it too.
8:41am Stu is quiet at about 5oclock -- just stretched a wing out; and again.
I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made
