Hi elfjune

We've got a good routine going here, you post the pics and I come in later with video.

Only a little one today, saving my energy for hatch time!

Dad's face is thinner and more pointed than mums. He also has a black tip on his beak where mums beak is more even toned. I still get the ID wrong! Am blaming the play of light on the nest! More often than not mum will fly in from 7pm and dad will arrive at 1pm. Of course, just to prove me wrong sometimes they switch around! Dad sometimes has to stand there for a while waiting patiently for mum to decide whether she's going to get up or not! Mum, am sure you've seen her shove dad out of the way so she can get back to "her" eggs.

Last year hatch was around 7:30am on due date. That would fall on Saturday afternoon for US/Canada viewers. Sometime this weekend!

Good nightsleepy

One more thing.... JKR?? showed some beautiful pics of Sea Eagles from Jenny Hodge. Jenny and Ken joined in on chat late yesterday. They are doing a scientific study on the size of prey that Sea Eagles catch. They are huge fans.

If you'd like to look at their website, here it is.

Thanks for the link JKR!

Being originally from Sydney Australian, this will happily fill my Sidney Eagle void.

Thank you Liberty for your videos! Videos are almost always more fun then stills. And a thank you for your videos of Delta 2 and Jet on the other forum. I can go back and 'see' Jet when I feel down.

I hope the Sea Eagle parents are able to feed both Lets so that there will be no death matches on the nest. [I actually think that is more 'instinctual' then anything else but it's still tough to watch.]

I agree about the lighting. I'll think I'm looking at Mom because I see more white in the tail but then the other parent will come and have white in the tail too. And depending on the angle that they are sitting at, I honestly cannot tell if one has more white about the neck then the other. Don't Know
