Oh dear, I hope I have the right place here. Is this the Auntie's chat??? I hope so, it would be so nice to keep up with everyone while waiting for our beloved eagles to have some more babies. My drive into Delta View Habilitation yesterday was eagleless (is that a word?) I never saw one, and normally I would spot a minimum of 3. Hmmm, maybe I was paying more attention to the road instead of the sky....LOL.

Howdy, Everyone!!! I'm here, too!!!
Sort of feeling like a migratory duck - but I found you! I bet you thought you'd lose me.

Hi Carlene and unicorn3, glad to see you both found your way here.
Unicorn, maybe not seeing any eagles on your trip yesterday means that most of them are beginning to leave the Delta area. The sooner they leave the area the sooner the camera work will be done.

Hi everyone! I feel so sad that I missed out on a lot on my favorite nest this year with all the stuff happening in my life. Now they are gone already! Hope to see everyone keeping in touch here until the eagles return.
My brother got settled in a new care home today! It's an actual home and much nicer atmosphere than a hospital and he will continue to get speech, physio and occupational therapy here for his stroke damage. It's nice for me because it is here in Langley and 10 minutes away for me. That should make my life a little easier!
Take care Delta aunties! Glad to see you here Unicorn and Carleen. I hope to see some our new aunties here this year!
I adopted the Delta2 nest!

Love, glad to hear things working out for your brother and you. I hope it makes your life a LOT easier and helps him with his recovery.

I hear you Darlene, with all I have missed end of season as well. We have my mother in law now listed for long term care and so hope it doesn't take months to establish her there. Having to cover for hospital nursing staff who just aren't as prepared to offer the kind of care a nursing home resident requires certainly takes its toll on family and of course the patient. I hope the move for your brother is hugely positive for all, especially him.
As well, the drama of Linux departing way before expected was experienced while we drove to Ottawa and back for our son's wedding. I just today caught up with all the messages in the Delta 2 thread, quite a feat! Back now with catch up ongoing every day and our new normal with advocating and caring for mil in hospital.
Our aunties certainly remained loyal and committed to sharing anything and everything that happened on our nest once Linux departed. Well done Aunties! I feel like I really haven't missed a thing!

Howdy - Posting here on Saturday, the 4th of August.
Just dropping in and now departing to run some errands. Storm warnings are posted for our area so this will be a couple of VERY quick trips!!!
See you all later. Stay safe.
