Thanks for the eagle fix this morning newbiE! All we're seeing around here lately is turkey vultures and the occasional Great Blue flying over. Challenger made my day.

Thank you for sharing Challenger's background with us, newbiE. Such a feel good story. I think Diane Sawyer would like to take him home with her

Hello Aunties , just popping in to say hi to you all. Hope everyone is doing well.
newbiE, thank you so much for the story and the link to the video about Challenger . Raining is right, it is a "feel good" story. One the side of the video page there are some other stories about Challenger. I watched this one and it actually brought a tear or two to my eyes, very touching and wonderful photography of him. There's also some familiar faces in the video as well.
enjoy

I enjoyed that video of Challenger as well, Sandra.
Well, Aunties, I didn't want to leave on vacation without saying goodbye for now. We will be leaving on Tuesday but with all the running around I may not get another chance to leave a message.
We'll be back in about a month and I will be checking in as soon as I return to see if ma and pa are working on the nest.
Have a great Fall everyone and Happy Thanksgiving to all. I hope we have an amazing Indian summer.

Goodmorning , Have a wonderful 'safe' vacation Raining. Look forward to seeing a couple of photos when you get back. Fall is actually my favorite time of the year, the food, the fall colors, the smell of fall, the cool sunny days......love it all!
And you, you live in a beautiful area for this time of the year! I was in Nova Scotia a few years ago at this time of the year and everybody had the scarecrows in cute costumes and poses, even saw some drunken ones hanging off a balcony. Pumpkins everywhere, it was wonderful .
These two photos were taken in Oct. 2009. The 1st in Mahone Bay, and the 2nd one In Bar Harbor, Maine.
The fall colors are spectacular .
