Sandra you are blowing my mind with the face on the poo art tree and the eagle (pretty sure) sighting. What will number 3 be? Puzzled

NEWS FLASH!!

I have had word from Karen that Monday (Sept 12) is the 'target date' to do camera work at Lafarge. I will try to get more details from her over the weekend and will post it in this post.

Thanks for the info Terry. Will have to remember to check in if I can on Monday to see if there is live video of the visit to Lafarge. I survived my first week of school. I am very glad to have it behind me. It went smoother than expected for still being under construction and new students still registering daily with all the new construction in the neighborhood. I was very happy to be able to attend the first family picnic lunch at my granddaughter's school today as it is only 10 minutes away from my school. They have about 3 a year at her school but this is the first one I could attend. That was fun!

This weekend is the hot air balloon festival. Sunshine is scheduled for the weekend so it will be a pretty sight to watch. I went up two years ago but just plan on watching it this year.

Glad you have the first week under your belt, Darlene and that you enjoyed your granddaughter's school picnic. How great that you are so close.

I hear there was an earthquake off Vancouver Island. Hope Sandra didn't feel the effects in Nanaimo. We are getting huge waves from Katia. Lots of surfing going on this weekend. Thankfully there was no rain or wind this time round.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

:hello: Hubbie felt the earthquake on the bottom level of our home here on the Sunshine Coast, the concrete level so to speak, about 3-4 sec of slight wave like motion, kind of like being on the ferry he said. I felt nothing 1 level up. Second quake I've been in and felt nothing. Once in Ont the kids were on our bed as I sat at the desk in our bedroom. One of them told the other to stop shaking the bed. I felt nothing. And I'm the one who gets seasick!

eta Raining, I love that picture of the climber and gulls. There are some great pics in the email going around that includes that one.

very embarrassed Please disregard the previous information concerning the camera work at Lafarge very embarrassed

Just got new information from Karen:.

I just learned from Richard that he has no idea when the part for the cam will come, Terry. Sorry. I would have mentioned that last night if I had known. Thanks for letting the Lafarge fans know but it probably won't even be Wednesday now. So, until further notice, I guess we're in limbo.....K

I'm sorry folks I only post what I'm asked to... It Wasn't Me
