What a wonderful sharing Carolyn. Can't we keep the picture? Bleu is gorgeous and still looks fairly young. How old? We had to put our old border collie down last Dec. I don't think I could go through that end of life stage with a dog again. sad Twice was 2 times too many. Cry
I have the nest cam on as we speak. Lots of wind, popping, no eagle sights or sounds. (I had to go there Titter)
I will sign off with my name. I decided to stay with stim on the forum as Sandra Gee is so active here. Can you guess what it is?
No, not Gee!

Carolyn, great photo of you and Bleu thanks for posting it. Now of course I want to introduce my Lab, Temma. This is a couple of years back, she is seven now but still behaves like a puppy !Click on image to download

Sandra, I revised my post and you can keep the picture. I am sorry about your dog. I have gone through that with dogs and kitties and always find the joy of having them is worth the sorrow. So, I am never without a pet - currently Bleu and 5 kitties (indoor - Oriental Shorthairs and one rescue who is precious). They all are a source of constant amusement. Bleu is named after the blue herons in The Woodlands - so she is a bird dog named after a bird?

Skyclan, your Temma is absolutely fantastic and in incredible shape. Must be like Bleu, always on the go?

love

Alan and I are cat people. Our first, Tuffy, was a wee tiny thing when we came upon him on the sidewalk. None of the people in the area had a clue where it came from. I picked him up and he was trembling and purring at the same time. Once at home I opened a can of salmon and watched as this tiny kitten ate until it was all gone. I found a shoe box lid and put potting soil in it. Took kitty there and from then on he was litter trained. We called him Tuffy because we just knew he'd had a tough start in life. He ended up being a very big cat. He shared our life for over 20 years. I don't have any pictures I can post because we lost him before the age of the digital camera.

Now we share our life with Sneaker -- so named because she is very sly and secretive in her comings and goings. We adopted her through a local shelter. The 1st night we had her she found a tiny corner in the back of the hall closet and refused to come out. We filled a bowl with crunchies and put out fresh water but no way she was moving. We went off to bed in the end and a few minutes after the lights went out and it was quiet we heard her eating the cat food... She spent a lot of time in hard to reach corners in the first couple of weeks here.

I'll see if I can find a good picture to post.

In this picture she is sitting on an old knee high sock that I put cat nip in and tied it in to a knot.

I see you have all been busy around here today.

Carolyn it's nice to finally see your smiling face. Hello
And thanks to all of you for posting your pet pictures. I currently have a cat --- that spoiled one in my avatar named Mischa. I'll see about finding a better picture of her later.

Well, not sure if anyone is ready for another eagle camera but one of our members (CJ) mentioned she has found an Australian White-Bellied sea eagle camera where the parents have 2 eggs and of course I thought about you liberty.

Not that I want to become addicted to another eagle but ..............

We could set up a thread for it in the Cams Outside of North America if anyone is interested.

YES. we want to set up a thread please! I talked to Karen about this cam yesterday and she asked me to contact the person with the cam to get info. If you can set us up while we wait for history that would be wonderful and endorced by David. We can add history and info later. Liberty 1998 first alerted me to this cam and gave me the name and email. I emailed them this morning but if you can set it up as a forum jkr that would be much appreciated!

This is my first chat forum! I am so excited to be able to see pics and get more personal with the people I have come to love on the Delta2 forum. I will have to take a pic of my ginormous cat that is the love of my life here. Carolyn, Bleu is absolutely beautiful.

Well, since you have already sent them an email I will set up a thread and reserve a couple of empty posts for information.
Obviously I missed seeing Liberty's initial post about this camera --- very embarrassed
