Dad Hornby and the eaglets are gone and Ma was there a few days ago still after the others left. She could also have departed. Most of the eagles on the Island have gone and will be back in October.

The cam is closing down, I hope you know. We will get reports starting in October on a thread here which should be easy to find. So....we will not lose track of precious Hornby's.

That is nice to know. Will WR cam close down too??? I was wondering if we would see the team up doing repairs. I'm hopeless but I still open the cameras and watch!!!LOL
That is the nice thing about doing art I can have the laptop open right beside me while I'm painting and unless the video stream stops I can keep one eye on things!

No White Rock is different, a HWF cam. It will be cleaned as far as I know - you can ask the mods they know more about this cam.

What I meant was Hornby cam is shutting down for good. Unless in the future things change any awesome information will be by Doug filling us in. I hope I did not confuse you. It is entirely separate from HWF but you can read up on everything at the Other Eagle cams area with full reports and goodbyes to such a beautiful site.

I don't know why I expect anything different in August....average for this day is 96. About now I start getting really
tired of it though.....dog days of summer!

My understanding is the White Rock cam will continue to stream. I haven’t heard anything to the contrary as of now.

The dog days of summer and even the air is a bit different.This year we are all over the map..... yesterday it was 39C here....aprox 102F and we couldn't breathe and now today it is 19C or 66F. Back to the low 30's for the next week or so. Bonus that it cools down at night!!!

Went to buy birdseed and we came home with a new BBQ!!! Oh and the birdseed....Happy Chickadees and happy husband as he is assembling!!
