Quote by: nonniejean8 jas… your new day posts…great way to start the day! Such lovely poems & graphics you share daily too…thank you. Thanks also, much, much, muchly, for your prayers for Texas rain.
Hi Tx…I had a big chuckle when I saw jas’ “Palligators” too…good one for sure!
Uh Oh…Another post gone…know that feeling, GF!
I love your pictures & commentary…what is usually ‘green’ around my house my house & garden is now dormant or just plain ole’ ecru d-e-a-d.
What’s that about dark clouds & thunder to your North…about my luck, as I live South of you!
Good Luck @ hopefully getting rain today! Hope it will be a bunch of bunches!
G-son Terry is making his last move with a U-Haul load of things he’ll need for his new apartment in Denver, CO…while attending pre-med classes at University there the next two years. Yesterday I inherited all his pot plants…herbs & flowers…he delivered & placed them on the front porch area along side mine. It’s beginning to look like a garden out there. Guess I’ll have to sit out there (this Autumn – not now) when I get to missing him & talk to his plants.
Hello Carolyn…Hoping to finally see ‘some’ rain here this weekend…hope the skies will bless both our areas of Texas…out Tx’s way too.
Oh My llh…What a beautiful painting!
You are blessed with a wonderful gift…thanks so much for sharing! All I can paint are inside walls & outdoor trim!
Missing You, (((((Annie))))) ...Hope you're enjoying your trip, GF!
Wishing you a good afternoon & evening, (((((Everyone))))).

Thanks so much for your kind words. Now, Come on over - got a stairwell to paint LOL
I came for the Eagles and stayed for the FRIENDS,
Lana

Jean....Thanks!!!
Wow did I miss a lot and sooooo much to absorb. You all have been very busy in the last 2 weeks!!! And wonderfully so!!!
I have enjoyed reading all your posts and laughed at some, did a lot of smiling and chuckling and some sad times and teary eyed too.
Carolyn I understand what you mean about over committment. I belong to 3 art sites and a photo site and here. It is about balance and if you discover how to do that......please let me know!! Oh and try to work at my art all the while!!
Here is a photo of a sunset out our back door. Followed by a massive storm and tornado sighting. No one was hurt and no damage....and thank goodness no hail!

Hi All!
Arlene, so glad you are back! I guess it is a question of balance - but then why do I keep tipping over? Thank you for the description of Manitoba - sounds gorgeous. I guess you do not feel water deprived there with all those big lakes, which tried to become one again. (That would be wierd). Your artwork is wonderful and colors our walls here beautifully along with Lana's. I love that sunset picture!
Jean - Hi! Ready for some rain! I sure am. Naoma - you too, I agree that conserving your water is important. We try to use as little as possible, but still the water bills have been large.
Lana - You are not old for sure! No way, Jose. I miss all my pets who are gone. My last golden was so special that I thought I would never have another like her, but I do, which is a double blessing (Brandi and Bleu). Yet I think back on all of our pets over the years and each one was unique, to be treasured.
jkr - Thanks for the new link for the new eagle thread. I have been there and love it.
jas - You bring such cheer here (hey that rhymes!) so we love you dear (and that too) and I will never be bleu with you posting too. (pretty cool, huh).
Going to git......enjoy your evening, weekend, day, night, hour, minute and spread a bit of joy.....
your buddy down here,
carolyn
