Karen, awww poor Stuffy. After all the comfort and pleasure he gave to the eaglets, he gets beaten up. And they never fed him either. That fish is for Stuffy. Since he is not real, he can eat a not real fish, right?

Good Evening ELFS!
Oh Carolyn, I love the poem! I can certainly relate to Ralph's antics. I know
how much you are missing him GF.
Karen, I'm glad your Aunt is settled in a retirement home. I hope
this gives you some peace of mind. Ah yes, the kitchen will be finished one day and
you will forget all the upset as you cook and enjoy all the newness of everything.
Yes, Foxy has been after stuffie big time. I have a video I'll post for you & everyone.. H/s is sooo
funny to watch.
Lana, I haven't told you how beautiful your paintings are. My very favorite is
your granddaughter wading in the water...just lovvvvvve it! What a treasure for
the ages.
I have a black cat and he is one of the most loving, gentle and sweet kittys I've ever
had. He's an old boy like Ralph...he is 17 and though healthy, he has lost some of his
bulk.
Here's the video. It's kinda long but I hated editing out h/h cuteness.
ECHO & THE STUFFED TOY
I must go have dinner. HAVE A GREAT NIGHT EVERYONE.

Good Morning ELFs.....
Karen, poor Stuffy......he will persevere.
I just watched Bleu do something very funny. She was leaping to catch her toy as she does, had it in her mouth after catching it (this is in the pool) and then was looking all over the pool for the toy while swimming around. She finally figured out it was in her mouth!
It reminded me of times when you put cellphone to your ear, then wonder why it is not in your pocket. Or other similar stories. If she could have seen herself she would have scratched her head.
enjoy that vision friends,

Howdy Do ELFS!
It is officially summer here in the San Juan Islands. The tourists have hit the streets with vitality to spend $$ and play. Which the islands depend on this time of the year. After October this place goes dormant till next season so i have been told. I have been on the island for a month now but feels much longer. It gets light out about 4:30am and stays light till about 10:30pm so i am always on the go go go. Meeting lots of people from here there and everywhere. Other than watching eagles walking down to the marina early evening is one of my favorite things to do every day. I need to start carrying my camera with me because I am missing so many interesting pictures.
The little condo I am living in is in prime real estate right downtown. So I walk everywhere. To the store, post office, library, walk walk walk. Driving a car in town can be a challenge because of the ferries (one learns the schedule very quickly) and the lost tourists. Then I come home and have 4 flights of stairs to get to the condo unfortunately with no view but the lush greenery is a plus. Thanks goodness the stairs are not as painful as there were a month ago. But the wet winter months i don't want to think about.
Carolyn....I love your stories about Bleu. I miss all my dog friends back in CA. There are some pretty fabulous well behaved pooches here. In fact there must be a dog to every household here. Never seen so many different breed of dogs in a concentrated area. I love that there are poop bag stations everywhere you go. Honestly all over town, outside of town, parks, roadside picnic areas there are the plastic bag/garbage poop station. I knew you all would want to know that interesting bit of info.
My kitty Kokomo was a really good road kitty on our drive up here from CA. Never gave him tranquilizers which I am glad I didn't have to. Once he was riding up front strapped in in his carrier next to me he was happy and slept most of the way. So not everything i read about traveling with a cat was true LOL!!
I kept Kokomo inside for 3 weeks and just last week started letting him stick his nose outside while i supervised. Now he is allowed out while I am home. But for the most part he rather be inside looking out the big windows.
Oh gosh i have been rambling. I need to check on Foxy and Echo and peek on a few other nest before I go walking walking walking.
Hugs
Carole
