Thanks Annie and everyone from my son - he is exhausted as he is teaching teachers physics modeling (how to teach physics in a new way) here for 3 weeks with the reunion in there. His family went home last Wed and when he gets back home he will have his little boy coming soon after which he teaches Summer School Physics at his school (a private school near Dallas). Too many things to juggle!

This program he just finished is a two year intensive program, but he chose to do it one course a semester for 5 years. I believe he is actually surprised that it is finished.

I just got a new refrigerator and it is wonderful to have space. I knew as soon as I saw it that it was what I wanted and there was a big one day sale, so hesitation stopped.

Annie, you sure do have a bunch of Gemini's here. All delightful people for sure.

Rest time after a hot busy day........I got Bleu a new collar at her request as she really did not like the one she had (it was clear as a bell ringing). Now she is content and of course the colors are blue and yellow flowers, cheerful.

Good afternoon Eaglelovers & Wildlife Friends,
I thought I should introduce myself after posting on the WR site yesterday and to let you know how much I have enjoyed it. You all are lovely folks and it would be great to get to know you. I hesitated posting on the WR site because life has been tough lately with my family...illnesses and disabilities that don't allow for me to take part in the way I would like to. So please if you would rather I didn't ...please let me know...because I can't commit to the time...I sure would like to, but it just isn't possible right now.

I'm from Toronto, born and lived here all my life, and have loved birding, gardening, anything to do with nature and wildlife....for as long as I can remember and that would be approx going on some 50+ years now...(not my age...LOL...just when I got interested)...I'm a few years older than 50+... I also fell in love with photography about 15 years ago and if it stands still long enough...I'll take a picture of it!

I have a wonderful husband who has been very ill and we're fighting to get him better. We just celebrated 40 years together. Our 2 children, a son and a daughter have long since flown the coop and married. Our daughter has given us 2 fabulous grandkids, 3 & 10 years old....2 boys, they are the apple of our eyes...we love them to bits!...and spoil them every chance we get....hehehe! We enjoy teaching them about nature and all that it has to offer...they look forward to our trips out looking for new birds to add to their lists.

Thank you for all your hard work on the WR site...It's been excellent!! I have looked forward to popping in every chance I could get and relished the updates and captures. I always knew if I couldn't get there to see it myself...I could count on your hard work which I can see by your posts is a true labour of love for the Eagles.

Glad to have you with us. I'm a newbie, too, since around the hatching of these, um, babies??
It doesn't seem like there is any commitment involved here. You share when you are able and look in as often as you want.
Caring for a loved one that is ill is crazy-making. I'm guessing you can't concentrate, you forget to breathe deeply, can't sleep very well, just when you need it most. Remember to take care of yourself. It's so important.
I am loving the screen captures and videos because for the entire last week every time I logged on they were dozing and doing not much else. So I get the benefit of others watching and capturing moments.
My sister has been visiting and staying with my mother so I get a wonderful breather from basic responsibility.
Yeah, yeah, Happy Birthdays to all you Geminis. It's time to move over now. Make way for the Cancerians!! Do I hear horns blowing?? ok Just kidding. I'm getting ready to be Queen for the day. And it goes way too fast.
Anyway, I'd better get to work. many projects half-way done.

Sharon HI! I echo Claire......one of the many reasons I love this thread is that we can come when and if we can. We have a wonderful time together. I'm from Texas and have 7 almost 8 grandchildren. My son's 6th coming soon is a boy and he has 5 beautiful girls all cherished. My daughter has a boy and a girl who live near me. My children are a delight.

I am into languages, pet therapy, swimming, walking etc. I am about to go to the nursing home to do pet therapy with my golden retriever Bleu so I do understand what you are experiencing. I hope you can make your husband well. My husband and I have been married 42 years (where does it go?). We are transplants from NJ.

the soon to be baby boy...that's super! I think it is fantastic what you do with your pup Bleu. I have two little dogs and often wondered if they would meet the requirements for home and nursing home visitations. Golden retrievers have been a favourite of mine forever. I love my little pups and don't know what I'd do with-out them...
