Hi Julie again.....My family who just left live in Plano. I am in The Woodlands and agree with you about the pool - both Bleu and I and people family love it. It's really neat when the tree shadows are on the bottom in the morning when I swim laps or in the afternoon too with shade from our river birch.
The Victoria hummingbirds are precious. The coloration on mom is cool. I watch the Orange County California hummingbirds with Phoebe.
Maybe Annie knows about beaks - or post that on the WR thread and you can get an answer - it is a perfect question for there.
Lana, that is great you got to go to dance recital - amazing to see them grow up isn't it/
see you later friends,
carolyn
Whoops, almost forgot Third Hatch at Hellgate Osprey nest! Now there are three and Dad will certainly have to do a bunch of fishing.
Catch each moment as a treasure, the joy is yours to hold.

Hi my friends!!!!
I just rendered my first video of White Rock Eagles
An overview of our beautiful eagles
Duration: 2min 56s
These clips were taken on Saturday June 23rd with an 840mm (effective) lens and tripod under fairly windy conditions
Here is the link to the media gallery. Video is compressed due to upload limitations, thus some minor errors.

Sunday Greetings ELFS,
I can't stay but did want to answer your question Julie. The beak and eyes of Bald Eagles
turn yellow by the time they reach maturity at 4 to 5 years of age. It is a gradual process.
Christian, I loved the video as I said in my comment in the Gallery.
s Gabi, Carolyn, Lana, Julie & All.
Talk to you later...........
ETA: Thank you Julie for filing out the profile! Will read later.

Lana: You went to your granddaughter´s first ballet performance. I see how proud you have to be. Wish I will be a grandmother one day. How old is the young lady?
