wave Hi ELFs

Great pictures, Christian!

Annie, I love taking pictures at Saxe Point Park - there is always something interesting! As for your moon, it is wonderful! If you want to see the dark colourations of the craters better, you might try to lighten the pictures a little - just a suggestion Smile
Cooking is one of my favourite activities as long as there is someone around to eat the results.

Hi Wonderful ELFs.......we just got home and had a delightful time at the dance recital. The girls did a great job. It was a fantastic visit and we had almost no traffic on the way home. I am glad to be back. The girls were hugging me all the time. And....the eldest who share my birthday, gave me her special rock as I left. I know how precious that is so it is in my purse in a special place.

Sara, adorable! Mama and your son are gorgeous too as are you! I am so excited for you. Mine 8th is due July 19th. The excitement in their home with 5 girls is tangible. Me too!

Christian, can you help out that little duckling? I saw one in the pond near me the other day and the mom only had one which means either the others did not hatch, or something else. I love your pictures!

Lana, what can I say? I would love to have that heron since Bleu is named after them. It is spectacular and you know I love the duck.

Annie, Hi friend. The renovations will be worth it. I love my bathroom. I am excited about the floors as I do have allergies badly and it should help. I hope we can get it done the Fall at the latest with vacation in here in August. Maybe even July? Who knows? Painting is this week and that is exciting too.

Jean, I love your recent pictures and it is so wonderful to see you here friend.

Carole, how are you holding up with your imminent move? What a beautiful place you will have!

Jo, miss you but see you a lot at White Rock along with the crew so know you are busy and happy.

Here is what happened before I left. I was tracking down exactly why Bleu my 65.6 pound dog dropped 5.,6 pounds in 22 days......I thought it was not eating from other reasons, but suddenly I had an moment of smart and realized her food smelled funny and maybe that was why she would not eat. Well.....it was spoiled/factory mistake.. I got new food and they are giving me free bags of it; This all went down in the 1.5 hours before we left for Plano. She came with us and did not eat well, but is starting to eat again. Actually she almost tore the new bag out of my arms and ate like she was famished. Live and learn......

That's my novel friends.....hugs,
carolyn

waveWell the Heron came home with me as they would only take one for the show and picked the Mandarin.
I do sell prints on www.FineArtsAmerica.com but the original for a 10"X10" is not too pricey - $100 - Whatever I sell through this site I will give a %-age to the Hancock Foundation.

HI Lana,

Yes, I was worried. She was listless and a mess. You feel helpless until you figure out the pieces of the puzzle.

Lana, I am sending you a pm.

Hello everyone! Christian, what a cute little duckie! Now you will be its mama forever. It will imprint on you and think of you as mom..........How nice! Karen, we have lots of geese here too and am glad you snapped a pic of our glorious bird! Carolyn, I am glad you figured out what was wrong with your dog. I'm sure he will be on the mend now.

Today I thought I would try out my new camera so I went off to White Rock. I was not able to go down to the beach today to check out the nest but I managed to sneak a peek from another area. My luck, Mom and Dad were not home and the little ones must have been flat in the nest as it looked empty. So I went to Kwomais park and did not see much there either. It was pretty quiet. I only saw 1 eagle. Well.........lastly I went over the main beach at WR where the dock is (and most of the tourists). Finally, I lucked out and found that resident pair of eagles at home. These are not the same eagles that we watch on the HWF eagle cam. They actually put on a bit of a show for me by flying out of the nest and over my head. It was hard to catch a picture of that but I managed a couple. Here are some photos for you all. Annie, I even managed to snap a train for you. This would be one of the trains that runs past our WR camera eagles.

Mom and Dad at WR are away. The babes must be resting.
