eta....Bleu and I had a long/wonderfully productive nursing home visit today. It is great to see the smiles generated.

Hello everyone! I spent most of my afternoon working in the yard. We have a fairly big area here and it takes quite a while to mow grass and tidy things up. Carolyn, I love your flower pictures. And your kitty is so cute! Bibbo has a stuffed kitty for a playmate............I have to tell you that my cat Belle, has a stuffed dog for a pet! It is stuffed with catnip. Weird sense of humour?? Here is a picture of her a couple of years ago at Xmas time. She has just opened presents from Santa and found some yummy treats!

Good Morning ELF's

Awww..I love your kitties Jean and Carolyn.
Kokomo says hi to Belle & Bibbo. He is a little confused with all the stuff disappearing in the house and going into the car. So he just sits and watches instead of following me around like he usually does.I am making a quick trip to my dads in Olympia WA this week to store some stuff in his garage. Then in about 2 weeks Kokomo and I will be loading up the car with the last of my stuff and head north.

I am on the tale end Smile of closing on the house and moving up to San Juan Island WA. Been spending some time taking pictures with my old Nikon. Glad I am still here in CA to witness the beautiful spring.
Thank you all for your camera input and suggestion.

An Iris from my yard.

I will defiantly miss having my own big veggie & flower garden. But the Orca whales, bald eagles & volunteering at the wildlife center will make up for it.

Everyone have a beautiful Sunday.

Carole and Jean.....I love seeing the kitties, and Bibbo says she loves it even more! Alice is nonchalant nestling on my monitor watching birds. The iris is gorgeous!

Carole, I would miss a big vegetable garden too. It sounds though like you are going to a glorious place to live and Kokomo is going to love it. Oh to be by the water and see that all the time - I know you mentioning kayaking ;wow what treats you have in store! It was hard leaving my home in NJ for Texas as I was "rooted" there. It did not take long before I realized that I was meant to come here as the world has opened up before my eyes, and my heart is here now. In actuality, I would not be on the Forum without having made this move. Red Heart But more so, I would not be doing pet therapy most likely - it happened here and I found my dog here who is the perfect match for this work.

Jean, loved seeing Belle. She seems to truly enjoy opening the presents. I think a stuffed dog is a perfect lovey for a cat. Betcha your yard is gorgeous as cooler temps tend to bring out the beauty.

Have a great Sunday friends......enjoy those eagles, ospreys, kitties, dogs, painting, photography, walking, running, kayaking or whatever makes you happy (I did not say housework).

Boy would you love it here - It's COOL....
Love you pics of the kitties - miss mine, but we like to pick up and go - hated leaving the dogs and cats - and worrying about them while we were gone - after they crossed the Rainbow Bridge we haven't taken on any more - YET Cool

What a beautiful pic of the moon - thanks for that - might have to make a BIG painting LOL

Off to an art sale - wish me luck.

Hey! Great news!!
The little eagle from Minnesota is going back to the nest within the crucial 48 hr. window.
(I had no idea eagles could count to 48)

They say to watch the webcam and it'll be early this afternoon.

The Fb page has the latest info, I think.

Good Afternoon!

Yeah, Lana, you sold a picture! I am so happy for you.

Karen, gorgeous moon and pictures. I love them.

Claire, just saw Harmon on the nest - so exciting. Bev alerted me as I was up to my neck in issues here.
I am glad I got to see.....now Mom and Dad come home!

Claire, Bibbo was watching Harmon sleeping on the nest intently. I have two pictures of it and when I get more photos will upload and post (I need to wait for enough photos for a file). It's cute.......
