Happy Easter to all my friends here. I hope you had a wonderful Easter. Just back from a lovely trip out west. Here is a lovely sunset shot that I took. Did not have my new camera with me, but not bad for a iphone!

Good Morning ELFs......

Jo, read the article on the home page from Richard entitled "The Elephant in the Room".....he is living every day to the fullest (under the conditions) and has an attitude that is contagious.
Good luck on the fabric for the loveseat!

We have squirrels that have eaten out roof vents! The roofers came on Friday to look and could not believe it. Every day I hear them sharpening their teeth on them. Well, the solution is going to be vents with a metal cap that they cannot chew.

I do not think Christian knew what the bird was - but he does know what that yellow flower in his garden is and curious minds would like to know - Christian? Please tell, i will even post a picture if you do.

Happy to see you back Annie. I am glad you had fun with friends.....I am going to get going before this day disappears.

Smiles and joy friends,
carolyn

Happy Monday Dear ElfsWub

I've caught up with reading and all your great posts...was fun.

First and very important HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Carolyn & Hubby! I wish you many, many more years
of Love. Since you went to your favorite restaurant I have to ask, what did you have for dinner?
I really enjoyed your Easter poem.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to Phillip and David!
You've done a wonderful job Christian. They sure are handsome young men.

SARA, St. Sebatian Kirch is very beautiful. Thank you for posting the photo.

Christian, Spectacular pix of the yellow flower from your tree, the moon shots, gorgeous Mandarin Duck, Snowy Owl (what a look), purple Hyacinth and oh what a beautiful kitty your neighbor has. I don't know what your little bird is but is sure is pretty and the Golden Eagle is great to see. We have Goldens around here. One of our clients told us where she thinks the nest may be so I'm going to try to see and photograph one. I would be so thrilled if I actually see one.

Gabi, Peri is a beautiful dog and how funny, he's as big as the pool!Laugh
The Easter Garden near your home is so, so pretty. I just love seeing photos from your village.

Jo, Miss Winston is such a funny bunny and I love seeing her. Zach is a pistol too eh?

'Karen, I've loved looking at your photos of the daffodils, moon shots, Easter card (are those Margarites?), all your wonderful collages. I took a moon photo the other morning for you......will post at the end.

Bev, I love your collage of flowers, tugboat and ducks. It's so good to see you again!

Wow Gillian, The sunset photo is really pretty. My phone doesn't take that good a picture I don't think.

I'm getting back into the routine sorta....today is laundry tooTongue Wishing all a Wonderful Day! Talk to you later.

Here's my morning moon......

Hi Annie and ELFs.....

Annie, your moon shot is wonderful. That one is special to see. It is actually my husband's favorite restaurant - mine would be Japanese. He had Tuna Steak with veggies and I had fried shrimp with veggies. And.....I had Key Lime Pie which I ate over 3 days. He cannot have sugar of any kind so he had coffee.

I have the kids here today so am very busy. Miss L. is getting surgery for tubes in her ears on Thursday and has pre-surgery appointment today..

I hope all y'all have a wonderful day......
joy to you,
carolyn

Awww, sorry to hear Miss L has to have surgery.Sad It just bothers me so much when wee ones have to go
through things like this. I cried and cried when my son had his tonsils out...he didn't.
Hope you had fun with the kids today...know you did but they can keep you hopping, eh?
Ohhh fried shrimp...sounds so good. I love shrimp scampi....do they fry it for that?
Have you ever had Key Lime pie from Marie Callendars? We just finished one we wanted to try that was frozen from Claim Jumpers.......not bad. I prefer the ones I bake (when there is time).
Thank you about my moon shot.
Have a good night my friend!
