Oh Karen, your pictures.....I fell into the sailboat picture and when I enlarged it saw more clearly the huge boat behind it. The way the water glistens is just spectacular. Thank you!

I did as you suggested -----put feet up with cup of mint tea and great book - woke up a bit later, with warm mint tea and a few pages read covered with three cats. I guess that is what you meant. Rolling on floor laughing

smiles to everyone,

Hello y'all. I've been so busy there has been no time to post, but just couldn't resist right now.

Gabi your picture of the Sacher Torte reminded me of the one we had in Germany. I can taste it from thinking about it.
Click on image to download This was delicious as well as the apple pie-sure it was called something else. I am a chocoholic, so I loved the torte best.

When we were researching places to see on the trip, we kept seeing a picture of a beautiful little church and had to work hard to find out where it was. It was St Sebatian Kirch in Ramsau. Unfortunately the day we went was very cloudy. Normally the alps loom behind it and it is beautiful. Of course the church was anyway, but was missing the backdrop. We had the torte in a little restaurant in this town.

All of your pictures are just bringing back such wonderful memories of that trip of a lifetime. I have the pictures as my screen saver and sometimes just have to look and let them scroll some before I wake the computer up.

Karen, those were beautiful pictures you posted. And Christian that duck is wonderful.

Carolyn sounds like a fun-but tiring- day with the grands. But aren't they wonderful to be with!!!

Gotta run. I'm helping to serve lunch today at church for our lunch hour Holy Week services.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Sorry for all I have missed, but not enough hours in the day lately.

Good Evening ELFs.....

Yellow seems to be the current theme here. Well not the Sacher Torte. So, Christian how much of the Sacher Torte for your birthday did you eat yourself? I bet that was one special Torte! Whenever I went to Japan, my Japanese mom made sure to have Nashi (Asian Pears) just for me as I adore them. And I love their pastries - always so beautiful you ALMOST hate to eat them.

The daffodils are gorgeous Karen, and Christian your flower (what is it?) is spectacular.

Karen, I am still marveling at your sailboat so keep going back to look at it. I hope everyone has a wonderful evening and sweet dreams......I am going to have some mint tea soon (oh no!).
hugs,
carolyn

Good Evening ELFS!

Such beautiful photos I'm seeing! I won't be able to comment tonight. Today was a very
busy one here, at home and otherwise.

We are leaving in the morning and will be joined by friends in LV. We will return Saturday
but I may not see you until Sunday or Monday. As I mentioned, we are having our master bedroom painted
and there will be much putting back when we return as well as catching up on work.

I will miss you...........behave yourselves!

hugKaren, Carolyn, Lana, Gabi, SARA, Arlene, Jean, Jo, Christian, Gillian and our
missing Jas.
