Thank you Christian also - I echo Karen. Went over to view and love everything. It makes things come alive with the "wind beneath the wings".

White Rock is spectacular.

Beautiful day here.....going to be warm again, yet I love the breeze. This morning when I went out I heard a chorus from a tree and therein was a nest (pretty far from me) and chirping babies (loud) and I think a heron flying in. I am not sure if it was as I grabbed the binoculars later, but it was a larger bird. Then to the left I heard a cardinal nest and others and then I heard birds talking back and forth.

My bird feeder has been quiet; wonder if there is a hawk in the area and that was the first alert system.
Maybe y'all know?

waveGooooood Saturday Morning ELFS,

I'm sorry I couldn't make it in yesterday.....life tends to intrude, lol. I was keeping up with you though and made notes which I hope still make sense! Before I post those, I'm going to do the most current.

Karen, That is a gorgeous blooming tree and flowers too and of course, I love seeing the Saxe
Point eagle.

Carolyn, How lovely to see and hear all the birds this morning...has to raise one's spirits
right up. It did mine just reading about your walk.Smile

Great to see you Christian! I've been missing you but determined you were no
doubt quite busy. I'll be over to see your photos soon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Notes I had made for you.
I'm just loving the flowers Carolyn. The Dogwood is beautiful....such interesting bark. I haven't seen one of those in quite a while. You sure have way more pretty flowers in bloom than I do.
I figured you knew the copperhead was venomous but someone asked if they were so that's why I posted that link. We also had water moccasins in those woods we played along with every other snakes and critters that could harm you. Most just run away.
Once here in a different home, I walked past shelves we had in the garage and heard a distinct rattle. Yep, it was a rattlesnake...had the neighbor come kill it.
How very sweet Miss Bibbo looks all curled up in her very own bassinet! Do any of the others sleep in it?
:lol:, ha Lana, so hubby makes like Sterling Moss eh...mister lead foot? Hope he doesn't do what Moss did a couple of years ago!
The photo of Mt. Baker looks like a painting...so pretty.
I fixed your post with metal glass man Hubbard and will do the same with your cousin's if that's ok with you.
Oh what I would give to have the experience your friend had! Surreal indeed!
Rolling on floor laughing Arlene...I can just see you now with your broom-chasing self running down the street. I sure don't like them stealing other birds' eggs!
It is so good to see you; I hope you can slow down and come in more often.
Karen, What did you bake for us?
Don't mind me, I was bopping along doing my post directly to the page from pages back and did not see your post....3hrs. before me?! I really was doing too many things at once, eh.
Oh so pretty Olympics and beautiful crocus. Love the photo of PYM and hubby sauntering on down the street of beautiful trees. Can't see enough of the Saxe Point beauty...great photos. I really like the collage and batman in the trees...gotta love someone's sense of humor.
Have a great Saturday and Weekend ELFs!!
Hi Annie......
Actually the doll cradle has in it......Eddy on top of Ralph (white cat), no Bibbo. Bibbo does not sleep in that; she prefers my chair right here and the chair on the other side of the room, our bed and the windowsill in the bathroom with sun flowing in.
Catch you later! Just back from walk.....kind of warm.....
hugs,
carolyn
wave Hi ELFs
I'll tell you what I baked this week for the reception I have to coordinate tomorrow for 200 people, Annie.
100 cheese biscuits
100 coconut/oatmeal cookies
a large pan of Tosca cake squares (makes approx 48 squares)
A batch of Danish pastry which will be cut into about 50 pieces
I hope it is enough. I thought I had better get on the ball when very few people stepped up to the plate when I sent out an SOS!
Lovely to have so many birds around, Carolyn!
Got to go back to watch some election results!
Hello ELFs
Lana:
OMG !!! You have such a painting talent. Wow. I cannot see enough of them. They are so fantastic, wonderful, beautiful and outstanding.
Karen:
I love your pictures of Olympic Mountain. I´m looking forward each day to them. The blooming tree and the flowers are soooo nice. The photos of the eagles are outstanding. I love them so much. I would like to see some pictures of the reception and the cake plates. Please can I have the recipe of the cheese bisquits if you have time to write ? Thanks !
Carolyn:
The story about the babycopperhead is sooospecial to me because in Germany you can see no snakes.
Today I made some photos of the interior of our church.
