Good Evening EWF.....

Jas.........not one bit cooler today, but we deal with heat here the same way you northerns deal with the cold of winter. It is, however, the hottest summer we've had in 30 years. Was 111 on my back porch this afternoon. My pets are well taken care of but i worry about the precious wildlife. Nodding

Here's how i keep Zeak cool when he goes outside for his l5 min. at a time during the heat of the day. Smile

HelloCarolyn........Bleu knows how to beat the heat in your pool. Grin

wave Starr......thanks for the link. I love bears, too. Red Heart

Welcome Bonnie, nice to meet you & your clan of lovely animals. They are blessed to have you & you them.

Eaglenut......i do have a/c; i feel so sad for the people who dont, especially the elderly. Sad
Electric bills are very expensive this time of year. I set my thermo high & use extra fans.
Gracie, Cahliegh, Schnaaps & Peppermint.....Wub
Inuksuk....Red Heart

Much love to you, Annie & your Pigeons........is it Ranger?....hug
You are SO right about the beautiful rocks from Eaglenut. Smile

Good NIght friends!

Naoma - You are right Bleu does know how to beat the heat in my pool (although it is hot at this point) and how to get lots of water on our walks which we take on shaded paths only. She is smart! I love how you keep Zeke cool. Us too, keep AC higher to keep bills down. But it is a huge sigh of relief to enter the house!

Annie - I really enjoy writing the poetry. Mr. E went home on Tuesday but I see him and his sister often.

Tina - Love the inuksuk, love your pets, precious as they are. The dogs are adorable, could give them a hug. Your kitties are really cute too. Schnapps is a long kitty and Peppermint is aptly named.

Bonnie - delightful to meet you and your family (including all the fur kids). I hope school goes well for you and that you can plop in here from time to time.
talk to you tomorrow or the next day,
carolyn

I STILL haven't had dinner!

ETA: Red HeartZeak
No, it was some no-name looking for food. I've withdrawn the ground food because the pigeons eat it so fast that the doves and little guys don't get any. Ranger and Tex have been MIA for awhile now.

Carolyn, Eeeek, I knew that...I'm very scattered lately. I bet you miss him the 'in-between' times.

SEE ALL TOMORROW...TAKE CARE.
