Not sure if I understood whether the letters of the word Telescope have to begin each new word in order...or just be added somewhere in there to make a new word.

Anyway...here's my try.

These words can all have a letter added and then be rearranged to make a new 5-letter word. The letters added spell a 9-letter word. What are the new words?

L.....KEEN = KENEL
E.....SUIT = SUITE
S.....QUAD = SQUAD
C.....WHEY = CHEWY
